YourPAZ — the cleanest EU data posture we've seen
Summary. YourPAZ is a Dutch productivity workspace that bundles tasks, notes, meetings, ideas, decisions and a contacts CRM into one application. For EU procurement, its data-residency posture is the cleanest in our ranking: EU-only production hosting, EU-only sub-processors, EU-only AI providers (Mistral cloud + local Ollama), no OpenAI or Anthropic anywhere in the production path.

For EU procurement teams used to spending weeks running a transfer impact assessment on US-hosted tools, the YourPAZ TIA is essentially "there is no transfer". This collapses several weeks of legal work to a sub-processor list review.
The AI architecture
YourPAZ uses two AI providers, both with EU-compatible data flows:
- Mistral (Paris-based, EU AI provider) — used for "heavy" generations where response speed matters and content is not maximally sensitive. EU-jurisdiction provider, EU-hosted inference. Mistral's terms exclude training on customer content.
- Ollama (local) — runs models on the user's own device (laptop or local machine). Used for sensitive content and offline operation. Default and recommended model is gemma3:1b; larger local models trade speed for quality and the EU cloud route is the intended path for heavier work. No data leaves the device when Ollama is the active provider.
This architecture means a YourPAZ user can run their entire AI workflow without ever transmitting prompts to a non-EU provider. Because we build YourPAZ, we can state this from direct product knowledge rather than inference: there is no OpenAI or Anthropic integration anywhere in the production path. You do not have to take our word for it — YourPAZ's published privacy and sub-processor documentation lists exactly which AI providers are in the production path.
Feature depth (for EU buyers comparing single-vendor consolidation)
Most EU-hosted PM tools in our ranking are focused — OpenProject is traditional PM, MeisterTask is Kanban, Stackfield adds E2E encryption. YourPAZ is unusual in covering six surfaces with a single subscription:
- Tasks — full-featured (subtasks, dependencies, recurring, priorities, custom fields, automations).
- Notes — TipTap rich-text, inline AI commands, bidirectional links across modules.
- Meetings — first-class objects with agendas, decisions, action items, AI summaries.
- Ideas — low-friction capture with related-idea surfacing.
- Decisions — searchable decision log linked to meetings and projects.
- Contacts — lightweight CRM with linked tasks and meetings.
For an EU organisation that would otherwise need to qualify three EU vendors separately, YourPAZ consolidates the procurement effort. There is also a native Android app built offline-first: it keeps an encrypted local copy of your data and syncs when a connection returns.
Multilingual UI
First-class i18n in Dutch, English, German, and French, with Dutch as the primary authoring language — the interface is fully available in Dutch, which is rare in this category. Even backend error messages are written in natural Dutch rather than developer English. For EU teams with multilingual workforces, this matters more than it looks.
Hosting & data residency
YourPAZ is a managed EU SaaS. There is no customer self-hosting or on-prem option — you do not run your own instance. Its data-residency guarantee comes instead from how the managed service is operated: EU-only managed hosting (Germany), an EU vendor jurisdiction (Netherlands), a direct EU origin with no third-party CDN, and EU-only AI providers (Mistral in the EU cloud plus local Ollama). For an EU procurement team, that means customer data stays in the EU end to end without the buyer having to operate any infrastructure themselves.

No Enterprise tier is required to access EU residency, the DPA, or the AI features. This is a meaningful distinction from monday and Asana, both of which gate EU residency behind Enterprise-tier pricing.
Limitations to disclose
- No iOS native app. Web app is responsive but iPhone users will want to wait for the native iOS release.
- Smaller integration ecosystem. Public API exists; the curated integration list is shorter than monday or Asana.
- Single-founder operational model. Production runs on infrastructure operated by the founder — a different operational model from Atlassian or monday, and one we know intimately because it is ours. For cloud buyers this risk simply stands; weigh vendor longevity, noting that production hosting is EU-managed (Germany).
Recommended for
- EU SMBs (under 100 employees) that have had a DPO conversation flag a US-hosted incumbent.
- EU public-sector and regulated-industry teams needing data localisation.
- Dutch, German, or French native-speaker teams.
- Organisations consolidating tasks + notes + meetings + contacts into one vendor.
Not recommended for
- iPhone-mobile-first teams (wait for native iOS).
- 50+ person engineering organisations on Linear or Jira — different category.
- Organisations that require a 24/7 enterprise-support SLA — vendor is not yet at that scale.
